‘Bharath Bhramanam’ is a documentary series portraying the built heritage of India.

The documentaries are the outcome of an exercise given to the postgraduate students of Architectural Conservation of SPA Bhopal. The students were asked to study and videograph a historic structure in their hometowns.

The result was a collection of videos featuring the built heritage of India, diverse in their cultural backgrounds, typologies and locations. The students’ mother tongue was chosen to narrate, to keep the essence of the place intact.

We present to you, ‘Bharath Bhramanam’ – sit back and revel in a journey circling the cultural heritage of India through the docu-series.
